Conference Participation
Registration Fee: Free of Charge
Participation in ISFSEA 2026 is free of charge. Authors of accepted conference papers may present their work without any conference registration fee.

Publication Policy
Acceptance of a paper for presentation at ISFSEA 2026 does not by itself guarantee publication in a journal or proceedings volume. Publication routes are separate from conference acceptance and are subject to the editorial and peer-review requirements of the relevant publication venue.

Route 1 — REA Press Journals
Selected conference papers may be considered for publication in appropriate REA Press Journals, subject to journal scope, editorial assessment, peer review, revision where required, and final acceptance. No publication fee will be charged for papers accepted through the designated ISFSEA–REA Press publication route.

Route 2 — Scopus-Indexed Journals
Authors who wish to have their papers considered for collaborating Scopus-indexed journals may submit the designated request form together with their conference submission. Journal publication is not guaranteed and remains subject to the independent editorial and peer-review process of the relevant journal. For papers accepted through this route, the applicable Article Processing Charge (APC) is €500.

Route 3 — Proceedings Track
ISFSEA 2026 is preparing a proposal for the possible publication of selected, revised papers in a Springer Nature Computer Science proceedings series. This publication route is not yet confirmed. If formally approved, eligibility, review requirements, submission procedures, publication schedule, and any applicable charges will be announced separately.

Important Note on Publication Routes
The journal and proceedings routes are independent. The same manuscript cannot be published simultaneously through more than one route. Any later extended journal version of a proceedings paper must satisfy the policies of the relevant journal and publisher regarding substantial extension, disclosure, and citation of the earlier version.

Submissions are not limited to these topics. We welcome innovative research and applications in all areas related to fuzzy sets and their extensions.

      Authors may request consideration for this optional publication route by submitting the designated form. Any resulting journal submission will be evaluated independently according to the scope, editorial policies, and peer-review requirements of the relevant journal. Publication is therefore not guaranteed. If accepted, the applicable APC is €500.
