Announcement of Memoradum of Understanding (MoU) Between ISDEA and ISFSEA

We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Iranian Society of Data Envelopment Analysis (ISDEA) and the International Society of Fuzzy Sets Extensions and Applications (ISFSEA). This collaboration aims to advance research and applications in Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and fuzzy concepts.

Key Highlights of the MoU:

  • Purpose and Vision: The MoU establishes a framework for joint projects that promote interdisciplinary research in DEA and fuzzy methodologies, enhancing educational programs and expanding global influence.
  • Collaborative Initiatives: ISDEA and ISFSEA will engage in various initiatives, including:
    • Research Collaborations: Joint research projects to develop new tools and models for performance assessment in diverse industries.
    • Educational Programs: Workshops, seminars, and distance learning opportunities to build skills in DEA and fuzzy methodologies.
    • Conferences and Symposia: Co-hosting international events to facilitate knowledge exchange.
    • Exchange Programs: Opportunities for faculty, researchers, and students to enrich their cultural and professional experiences.
    • Joint Publications: Collaborative efforts in producing research papers for reputable journals.
  • Implementation and Monitoring: A Joint Working Committee (JWC) will oversee the activities under this MoU, ensuring effective collaboration and progress monitoring.
  • Duration: The MoU is valid for five years and can be renewed by mutual consent.
